How do websites work? Think of it like getting mail from a mailbox only it happens much faster and is almost instant.

When you type in the web address of the website you want to view, a server that holds the page you want to see, instantly sends to your computer the information at the address you typed.


Web Address: The URL, or address like www.mysecretlab.com

SERVER: a computer that has the page you wish to see, designed for sending out information to any computer that requests it. Servers also store information, keep records and manage information.

When we create a website, we upload it to your server so that when the customer types in www. your website .com they see the information you want them to see, and your company can now interact with an online audience.
